After successfully completing the program you will receive an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant Certificate, Dental Radiography Certificate, and CPR.

Already a Dental Assistant?

If you are already in dentistry, but need a Certificate of Dental Radiography, Smile Smart Dental Assisting School is offering Saturday classes with hands-on training on the latest digital x-ray equipment and software.  The 8 hour course teaches the following:

  • Dental radiograph techniques
  • Exposure and evaluation
  • Mounting and labeling
  • Digital radiography
  • Patient management
  • Infection control protocols
  • Radiation safety

Upon successful completion of the course, you receive a Dental Radiography Certificate licensed by the State of Florida Departments of Health and Education 

Curriculum

Smile Smart’s eight-week course consists of evening and Saturday classes at the Smile Smart Dental Care in Bradenton, Florida. Class sizes are limited to allow individualized attention so that you will have ample time to ask questions and become proficient in dental assisting procedures.
